Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Product portfolio and name change.

Maybe a complexity reduction in product variety is needed, as well as a product line-up which addresses the core needs of the multitude. For example, today there are (10) different ice cream scoop models available. This can be revised to less complex portfolio (with fewer models of products which are not high-volume sales items to begin with). A creative disruption in the form of a name change to "Cot, Shower, and That's About It" might help to convey the message to shareholders and customers that BBBY has been transformed into a new simplified & streamlined version of the enterprise.

OP just a brat troll. Doesn't know the company. Go play with pp, child. Probably someone who is losing his pants on the stock snd trying to find his belt. These 30 something punk memers love to play movers and shakers while reality is preparing to move and shake them, Guess would be the Town Hall did not go their way. Stay classy. It's still pump and dump while playing with your jobs. Just put the place in your rear view mirror while you can.

@xer - you are an impish troll trying to play BIG boy games. You know nothing about the company and it seems nothing about RC either as he left y'all holding the clutches and you still refuse to believe that he is out. Like, ALL THE WAY OUT. But that's OK because you're about to learn a really big life lesson soon. Get ready to embrace the suck because it's happening.

Ugh. Ignorant Reddit apes posting in this forum and acting as if they know what they're talking about. YOU DON'T!!! We are employees and we have been telling you that this ship is sinking. There is no hope. There is no merchandise and there are no customers. What precious little merchandise we do have available has been flexed to the MAX. If you don't understand what that means, too bad. I'm not going to explain it. But the fact is that you people don't know what you're seeing when you're in stores and you definitely DON'T know what to look for. GTFO

This idea is way too little WAY too late. There is nothing they can do to save the company at this point. If there are still people that are comfortable staying here and are not seriously looking for work elsewhere reality is going to hit much harder very soon.

Have you been asleep for the last 3 years OP? There is no longer any selection, and hardly any inventory. Customers come in and leave pi---d off because we no longer have what they need and expect. BBBY was known for customer service and selection----this is no longer the case.
