Very hard to see these smart guys go, and instill fear in the remaining. The surviving deadweight are unfazed and enjoy another period of no-work with full pay.
Oh yes, there is a jaunt planned this very month where several engineering leaders travel to India/Mexico for team building and offsite. One would expect cost cutting, travel feeeze during layoffs, but LT and ELT would still like to accumulate airplane miles and hotel rewards.
