Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

What's the endgame here?

There's a point when cuts go so deep that it affects productivity. I firmly believe we've reached that point. Now what? Hiring cheaper but less experienced people? Outsourcing to India or anywhere else in Asia or Eastern Europe? Is that the final goal here? Replace everybody with any knowledge and experience just to save a few bucks?

"There's a point when cuts go so deep that it affects productivity." - Perhaps Krause has been motivated to make even more cuts after employees have posted here that they're essentially not doing much of anything since the Vista deal was announced.

So, there is still unproductive CSG lard to cut, unless they're all terminated this week.

All I can say is that the Vista people aren't stupid when it comes to money. They know how to squeeze profits out, which is all they care about. They certainly have no interest in the customers apart from that goal.
