Citrix has not released an official statement on the layoffs. If someone would like to discuss what's happening at the company, please drop me an email at agonsalves@techtarget.com. Also, my condolences to those people who have lost their jobs.

Antone, What I'd like to understand is why Krause architected the VMware acquisition for Broadcom to delist them and essentially run this same playbook. In an acquisition that size, he would have had to have serious access to due diligence content. And then leaves Broadcom to work for Vista to do the same to Citrix? Are the regulators asleep at the wheel because this man has essentially ki---d an entire sector. Yes, cloud providers have competing solutions, but the market share was coming from Citrix and VMware. How is this not raising any eyebrows related to competitive fairness in the market, anti monopoly regulations?? Did someone get paid off? How is this ok??
Agreed, let's not forget the implosion that's happening at what was TIBCO.
CSG is being cut across the board. It's impacting many employees and their families.
i can say there was a pretty big culling on the TIBCO side today. Many sales people affected.
Thanks for joining the thread. I believe I have the email you reference. What I have is dated Jan. 6 from Krause. Do you have a copy of the email that you could send to me? I'd like to compare it with what I have. I'm trying to authenticate the email since everything I'm getting is done anonymously.
There was a lengthy email that went out explaining today layoffs and lightly touched on upcoming changes to the business to include loosing access to 2/3rds of our tooling as well as some "projects" getting terminated.
If someone who was laid off had the presence of mind to forward it to themselves I'm they would likely share it with you.
But I can confirm Layoff's clearly happened today (just look at the activity on this forum) and those of us that are left are supposed to get a follow on email later this week discussing the future of the company in additional detail.
Correct. I misspoke. I realize Citrix and Tibco no longer exist. Also, I'm in the process of trying to authenticate a document Krause sent to employees on Jan. 6. It discussed a massive reorg underway and said layoffs would start Jan. 10. Is anyone on this thread familiar with the document? Thanks.
a girl on her cell phone fumbled through a script saying your position has been eliminated then ended the 6 minute webinar
Antone, there's no story here (nothing noteworthy) to cover about the company.
Unless, of course, you want to document the human tragedy. In this case, you might want to reach out to AWS, Twitter, and Salesforce employees instead.
Trolls? Do you mean folks who aren't delusional about the leftovers remaining at CSG?
Citrix is not likely to issue a statement since the company as such no longer exists. CSG isn't likely to issue a press release about layoffs per se, but may spew some BS about right-sizing. Also, no one with completely fact-based insight is likely to be paying attention. Of course, if trolls are now considered worthy sources for the media, you're in the right place.
Citrix systems is no longer there it is now callled as cloud software group. Check their news
