Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

It is not easy to stay positive in these hard times

I know it's not easy to think that way when you get fired or the ax is hanging over your head, but there is definitely a life outside Citrix! Pretty much everyone I know who was previously laid off from here or left, is now in a much better company.

If you are most worried about the dismal market, it is true that it is not ideal, but everyone who has skills can find a job relatively quickly. I got an excellent offer much faster than I thought I would. Good luck everyone!

I was at Citrix for 5 years. I gained helpful career experience and made friends for life. However, it was by far the most toxic corporate environment I’ve ever worked in. I’m a way that I’m itself was helpful career experience, but I don’t wish it on anyone else.

Previous poster, try not to sound like a logical adult.

You have to sound like a 15 year old girl getting over her first crush. Management at Citrix are all toxic narcissists with a personal mission to ruin your life JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN.

I was at Citrix. The environment was far from toxic. Issues were accountability and bad execution

Ex-employees also report that it's much easier to stay positive once they were out of the toxic 'everyone-for-themselves' CSG culture that now prevails. The silver lining to any perceived job search clouds on the horizon.
