Intriguing to see what happens with people who were hired during covid who were always remote and don't live anywhere near Disney.
@3ndd+1kBcpO9m oh please. you know when creativity REALLY suffers? when you mandate sociopolitical agendas and label anyone tired of it as “republican”, “far right”, or otherwise unfit for the job. WFH is just one more scapegoat for the real reasons earnings are down.

um, so are you saying the quotas are different for work from home vs work in the office?

Curious, you HR, PR, or IR for Disney?
Disney is late on this. Creativity suffers when not work in person and people do not work at "best practice" at home. Naturally, employees prefer to work from home in their pjs, picking up kids from school, going to the gym, etc.. Disney managers love their staff not being in the office, as it protects their position, in that new stars can't be supported, or given a chance to move up the latter, unless they specifically meet quotas.
Control. It's the American way.
Come back to the office so we can see each other while hemorrhaging customers and revenue from participating in ESG. great plan bob, gold star leadership.
Agree. Make people miserable so that they quit instead of taking the PR hit and expense of laying them off.
Main thing is all if these companies making use of their property leases and ownership so they arend some wasted expense. Nonsense about team building is ridiculous. Simple quarterly off site meetings can accomplish the same with less expense and happier non commuting employees getting more done at home and work.
It's an unfortunate trend in corporate America right now. Force people back into the office for reason. Best guess, it is meant to induce misery.
