Oh my! Last night was Ready to Wear inventory. Going into work at 10am and we had to inventory rods and rods of clothes. It's a big mess and the count is going to be way off. What's the purpose of doing inventory when a good percentage of merchandise will be missed in the process.

The Backstage in my store is a mess and remained that way for inventory. That area was horrible to prepare and count.
Numbers will be horrible, in addition to having no one focused on getting ready for inventory because everyone's at a register, poor planning and poor execution of inventory, you have every day where people are walking out with armloads of stuff and no one to stop them.
That’s so awful! I feel for them. It’s harder, especially when the items missing tags might be Penny and it’s virtually impossible to get the right UPC to reticket them. You end up with a messed up SKU profile regardless. Ugh, ISM is the root of all evil. Hopefully everyone comes in under reserve, but it’s doubtful.
