You need to find another job and leave now. Sycamore Partners doesn't care about you. I watched them take Staples to it's knees. If you stay, you'll see RIF after RIF. You can hope that it will get better. It won't!
I will be giving my business to CVS even though I work for Walgreens. They provide 7 paid holidays for their store employees. And their stores are way cleaner and the staff is nicer.
Walgreens is going down the toilet. I doubt we will still be in business in 5 years.
Private equity firms squeeze as much money as they can out of failing businesses and then run them into the ground. They are the most greedy, heartless, evil people in the world. I don't know how Mike Motz can even look in the mirror without knowing he's a monster. Ruining people's lives for profit is shameful.

Also, let's cut holiday pay for our store teams right before the holidays and ask our Support Center folks to work in the store to make up the hours you don't want to give to the store teams. PATHETIC
