This is market sentiment in the tech and AI areas relating to jobs report, tariffs, gub'nt shutdown, etc and not really specific to Dell

"shutting down buildings. RR has what, 4? or is it 5 buildings"

They would if they could. It was an all out liquidation during covid years. I think they just wanted to keep buildings 2&3? The ONLY ones with the conspicuous freeway facing solar carports (so dell can show the world how they care about environment).

The rest they couldnt sell or it was lowball offer. Imagine the cost of having to modernize those buildings. So most are up for demolition.

Who cares? If that’s what you think you’re a m0r0n. But I’ll tell you why. Because Dell is all talk and zero action.

Good. I have no RSU's so idgaf lol... JC and MD probably don't like that but f both of them. There really isn't much else they can do to cut costs at this point so I mean, I feel like we are at the bottom of the savings barrel right now.

Wait, actually I DO know of a way to cut some costs. Getting rid of the RTO and shutting down buildings. RR has what, 4? or is it 5 buildings.. 7 and 8 are no longer owned by Dell I believe?

So why not stop wasting money on new equipment/cr-p at the offices and just let everyone work remotely? I can't imagine how much money they waste on electricity, water, maintance, and security for buildings that are likely only utilized for 3-4 hours a day lol.

idk about any of you but in the building I go into, everyone is checking out by 11:30 or so to go home. The cafeteria is depressingly empty for the most part so think of how much food they are paying for that ends up being dumped and thrown away day after day after day?

The Grill line is mostly chicken, fries, and burgers so once that's cooked it's no good by EOD. Same with all the pizza... It's literally a health hazard to "save" any of it. It get's thrown away.
