So 15k is the number. Which is still short of the 20%. So most likely round 2 will be after January. Those lists were already made as most people suspected. If anyone has actual details on how the layoff procedure works from prior experience, please inform us is there an HR call is there a WebEx? And what are the details of the actual severance if there is any?

The total number is 30k. 15k this year, 10k next year (post merger), and 5k in 2027.

You get told to hop on a last minute call. The problem is they have 2 last minute calls. One is to tell you that your job is safe. The other one is to tell you when your last day is.
While I do think there will be additional rounds I think the 20% is based on salary/expense of the heads not headcount. In other words it takes 15k heads to cut 20% of the salary exp
When I was laid off in the past my direct manager just called me before I went out into the field around 8 am ish when my peers got laid off from retail it was around 10/11 am by their district manager at the time
