I'm safe for now, but the atmosphere is very tense, so I'm not sure if this round of layoffs is over?

Why? Money? They maybe wanting to control the narrative for stock price purposes and they do not want people talking on the board.
I heard after being laid off, all remaining manager, directors had to sign NDA to not say anything about the layoffs. Q2 is trying really hard to keep it out of the media. Found that very interesting... wonder why?
Based on my gut feel, and how my manager discussed the layoffs with me, i believe it is over.
That said, the reality is that the world economy is a mess and more layoffs are possible regardless of who you work for these days.
