The only thing left for them to do is cut some more. There’s no turning this sh-tshow of a company toward the future.

I’ve spent years watching IBM from the inside — seeing brilliant minds automate, innovate, and create magic out of code and collaboration. I’ve seen people stay up all night fixing things that no one outside their team would ever notice, just because they cared. That’s what built this company. That’s what made IBM great.
But somewhere along the way, leadership lost its soul. They started calling layoffs “transformation” and selling fear as “efficiency.” They talk about “upskilling” while dismantling the very workforce that carried this place through decades of change. They preach “AI and automation” like prophets, but what they’re really doing is using technology as a smokescreen for greed.
