Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Organized Choas

This company is ki-ling my mental. The inconsistencies between LOBs, multiple booking, originating, and servicing systems for a single loan, lack of accountability for not adhering to policy (changing rules, testing methodology vs behaviors) to manage results, constant turnover, not uploading documents in a timely manner, 1 million conflicting procedures, job aids, and department emails, broken and outdated links, lack of full integration of systems and procedures. I know all of us are waiting for an employee friendly job market so that we can escape chaos.

If you believe that your employment may soon be terminated, consider submitting a request for reasonable accommodation through Truist's HR portal. Should your employment end thereafter, you will have grounds to assert that the termination was connected to your request for accommodation related to a medical condition, as protected under the ADA/ADAAA.

You have more power than you think. Make them fire or lay you off. That could open the door for legal action — especially since most people fall under EEO protections, and many health conditions are safeguarded by the ADA and ADAAA. Don’t let unfair treatment slide; document it all through Truist’s HR channels. Build a record that tells the truth about how you’re being treated. If you’re fired or laid off, an attorney can step in on commission and fight for your rights — arguing that management created a hostile or retaliatory work environment and that your dismissal was rooted in discrimination. Your preparation now can turn their unfairness into your leverage later.

Let’s not even get into the inaccurate/inconsistent reporting that is causing this chaos. It makes the teammates look bad.

Employees, including H1B visa holders and contractors, are increasingly frustrated with workplace conditions. Managers display notable bias, and despite the absence of assigned seating, some managers require contractors to work on-site. Furthermore, the productivity tool Sapience serves as the primary metric for evaluating contractor performance.
