Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Health Insurance

Mine went up 20 bucks a pay period for a comparable plan. So much for the savings with UHC.

More lies. Just like the OHI and then the RTO 3x/week.

Hopefully UHC and Fairview can get their 2026 contract figured out or a lot of people will be losing Fairview and their doctors as an in-network provider. So much for possibly only a 2% provider disruption. Interesting too how it all happens after we have to choose our benefits and they decide what they are offering us. I would have rather of paid the 11% increase and stayed with Cigna vs the 7% increase going to UHC.

I suspect TR might have gotten a good "first year" / sign up promo. You know, like when you first switch insurances. 2027 we might see the significant increase everyone else is seeing. If we're around, lol

Compared to a friend whose is going up 720/month, I’ll take the $20.

The annual premium pretty much remained unchanged. As far as I know in other places, for other people, it has gone up as much as double.

What concerns me more is ... well, UHC

They said it was going up with UHG. They said it would have gone up more if we stayed with Cigna. This is one thing you can’t blame on TR.
