AMs keep the stores running. Stop being jeolous. Once you are in the position then you would know all it takes. You can't even make it to work on time!

Why complicate things. Shut the stores down and deal with resellers. The people running our stores should be ashamed of themselves the way they operate. Total low-lives. We are better off without them.
Nothing has changed. Our Asst managers hang out in the back room for the most part of their 8 hour shift. When we are busy during this Holiday season, the don't interact with any customers on how too check in,tell reps who's next because our garbage pos system that puts customers back into the queue as there being helped already. There Managers know of this and do nothing. We even have cameras that show what they don't do. The position should have been eliminated years ago.
I am an assistant manager. I am the furthest thing from lazy, on the floor 95% of the time.
I have to be told to take a break!
I’ve been pretty fortunate with having the team that I do.
If some AM’s are on the chopping block I really hope the company looks at who brings VALUE to the team and actually cares about the business needs. Keep the hard working employees and let go of the lazy and don’t give a cr-p ones!
Hey, fu-k you! I hope YOU get laid off AND I hope you scald your tongue on a hot pocket.
@bv I agree. The ams where I work are useless as well. They're supposed to be on the floor, involved in every sale, and coaching us on how to sell better. I had a customer ask for a manager so he could give me kudos and my am didn't even say good job to me. I told my am thank you, and they replied with "no problem". Anyone that says no problem is a problem. Learn how to say your welcome or my pleasure. It's more professional. My gm does not sell with integrity and sometime they ask is to do things that go against selling with integrity. It's all a big sham. They all protect each other yet the reps are the ones making them money
I'd say GMs are useless, AMs actually have to be on the sales floor, GMs... What the he-l do they really do? Look at numbers and tell AMs what to do?
Speaking of looking at numbers, DMs are useless. How about cut their salary and pay reps more so the reps actually care and try
