Hello - I know most NY folks got WARN $ but anyone in California with the same luck? If so, what office were you in? Based in SF and I did not get WARN apparently they have separated each site and likely have strategically made sure each site was less than 50 people laid off to avoid paying out WARN even though its all California offices. So, if you are in CA and got laid off last week, did you get WARN notice? TIA!

I am based in the Burbank office and haven’t been able to identify anyone else that got laid off this round.
No WARN for me, remote worker laid off living in CA not near LA offices, but reported in to NY. HR let me know since I don't live in NY and/or don't report to LA offices, no WARN applies. Su-ks. Been looking for jobs and it's bad.
@jw WARN only comes into play if it's a mass layoff at any given location, or the total closing of a location. "Death by 1000 cuts" as they whittle some offices down to 0 don't fall under the mandate, unfortunately.
@js then i think the office must have been under the minimum bc warn pay is federal at 60 days NY is just more .. how many were laid off or in your office
No WARN pay for my state. (not CA or NY)
@a7 I don't think anyone got WARN pay in the SF and Burbank offie. NY did get it. Was trying to confirm if anyone in any of the LA offices got WARN pay.
SF staff didn't get it in Sept last year when staff in LA got it. They tried to fight it and lost.
maybe they are doing it in phases just avoid WARN. That's so evil! I fc-king hate this company
You’re not getting another handout.
@OP Are you asking if people got notice or got the 8 weeks pay in lieu of notice. They never give notice, they just pay out the 8 weeks (or 12 for NY) and then additional severance if you have been here longer than 4 years (2 weeks/year) and it's concurrent, not stacked.
Unfortunately this is how they do it every time
