North Atlantic is in the lead for acquiring Esso UK. Our strategy is to exit all of Europe including the UK.
CIC confirmed for last day of November.
Industry rumour is they are negotiating for 2 more assets / businesses. Strong indications Esso UK is one of the two.
ESAF (Esso Société Anonyme Française) will be renamed North Atlantic Energies on the CiC (decision announced at the last board meeting on Nov 4th).
CiC still scheduled end of Nov.
