Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Glint Survey: what you really want to say…

Let’s use this thread to post the survey response of what you really wanted to say but didn’t because of fear of retribution.

  1. Company has zero empathy toward long term employees and especially those who were laid off. Too many VPs with ridiculous titles still exist and milking us dry. Need to get rid of them.
  1. Not only I recommend people to join this company, I am asking people to see if they have any roles in their current company matching my skill set.. this is a toxic place. And this is probably my last survey.

Summary:

Culture took a nose dive last few years.

Would no longer recommend working here to others.

Limited growth and learning.

Lack of promotion and career path for almost everyone.

Manager is just ok. Not not as good as they once were as team size doubled, ELT changed, and strategy changed like it does every 6-9 months.

Can be myself. Cool.

Leaders open to dialogue and challengers? ha ha NO

Ethics of ELT questionable. Fine with most who actually do the work.

How do I feel working here? As anyone spending time on this site, not great. Planning an exit.

Anyone looking to work here or return here, avoid it.

WHAT? Tell it like it is in an "anonymous survey"? Us long haulers sit in the corner laughing every time HR sends one of these stupid things out right after a big RIF - so the ELT can plan who to cut the following quarter. lol.

Glint surveys are a trap! They are NOT anonymous. Think of all the things you are reminded to do and surveys are always one of them. HR WANTS your HONEST opinion! wink

The id--ts in the ELT don't know what is going on in the company.

Very good.
May be I dare someone to post a link to this in their glint survey feedback comments. Me, not so brave.
