@tb supply chain digital is a joke. There are lots of good folks able to do what needs to be done with the knowledge to do it. Moving away from knowledge will slow down the transformation. We're seeing it now and with the urge to move even more you aren't seeing it in the next two-three years. Polaris can't even get started because everyone around them is slowly evaporating.

If POLARIS had started 15 years ago, we would be much more efficient globally in 2025. We have always lagged behind the rest of the industry when it comes to supply chain technology.

Moves from India to run supply chain while many supply chain jobs are being moved to India. Anyone else connecting the dots here. Supply chain in North America is soon to be a thing of the past. Direct to India is the only thing XOM cares about.

He looks and behaves like someone you wouldn't trust to take out your garbage.

@j2 typical small town nobody. Went to a crappie university and spent his early career in a chemical plant polluting his brain. Finally got a bit of power. I never met a guy who has such experience being not toxic

@j2 behavior learned, tolerated and rewarded in BMT.

MM is very toxic, which is probably why he keeps getting promoted

Do you have to deliver something to get a promotion in this company? Or that is not a requirement for our senior leaders?

He was very good, too bad he is moving before he can make bigger changes to India

@ah if you ask this question to him
, he would say "Because We Are ExxonMobil." A lot i mean literally a lot of unqualified people have been elevated at XOM. These id--ts would struggle to find roles outside of XOM unless the roles were of "Con Artists".

@ah to clarify, he was the integrated complex manager.

The answer to your question is: potential

He will be the next JW or NH. Race between him and RB from EMPS in my opinion

How does one go from Beaumont Chem plant to India LCM to President. No director role or VP or SVP in between? Genuinely curious .
