As strange as it sounds, I love retail, but working here has become real torture. Literally, the manager wants me to be able to guess what's on his mind, because how else to interpret his vague directions? It causes me a lot of stress, but of course, he doesn't care one bit.

In my opinion it's a toss up when it comes to retail management. In my tears I have met some that would give you the shirt off there back and actually listened to there employees and I have met some that couldn't even tie there shoes.
Play stupid, do no more or no less, take your breaks and 1 hour lunch, work your schedule, rinse and repeat
He probably doesn’t have a clue either but was given some vague directions by his boss.
