These people gave each other the leg up and none know what the other is doing! I was impacted and frankly I’m relieved! I know the workforce is hard and we all need our jobs but a couple of months paid to figure it out sounds better then the BS Ive been dealing with! I wish you all the best and my prayers go out to all impacted! But since this new leadership has taken over over it’s been a disaster and the ones who laugh at the ones impacted, the ones who were kept, undeserving if based on metrics and performance, your time will come! You survived not for being a leader but for kissing the right butts!

Agreed. The worst management I’ve ever worked with. Young and inexperienced. Poor leadership, backstabbing, hiring friends, axx kissing, you name it.

Careful with your COBRA. I have paid 3 months, have reciepts and a letter saying I am covered but they wont give me a card to get care because they say I am uncovered. Error seems to be that the plan is administered by UHG. Fox in the hen house? What a joke

We suffered from dissonant departments and goals across a matrixed org, but it was innocent. It was lazy disorganization from acquisitions and we weren't working together. We were fixing that - aligning teams around goals.
Problem is that rather than more firmly align to a handful of goals/tasks as a team, the 100X way is to embrace division and expand it - fueling fear and competition.
This is backfiring in burnout and it will show when clients get pi---d. Before we had multiple people talking to clients and apologized for disorganization and that we're working on reducing points of contact. Now it's complete reverse and actively getting more teams and third parties to hit up our clients in a completely haphazard and antagonistic way.
Umm just because we survived this round doesn't make us bad workers. Why do you have hate for people who had nothing to do with this decision? I'm certain our time will come, too.
You’ll land somewhere for sure! Best of luck! My boss was fired and he’s not found anywhere and it’s been a year! My peer left and landed somewhere quickly. So there is hope beyond Optum!
