I'd like to volunteer, but I don't want to risk it if we're done for now. The last thing I need is to be PIPed and kicked out without anything because I put a target on my back for no reason.

... Because the pip based firings are a layoff in disguise. The company wants onsave every penny so it lies and avoids layoff related costs because its "for performance". What a corrupt company this place has become. From a place i was proud to work for to one I'm disgusted with in 20 years.
@OP stop your whining and leave already chief.
@e6 where in the HR guidelines does it say you get a few hundred K of severance for getting fired? please post the goto/ here
If you get PIP’d then fired (don’t resign, but get fired) then you will get severance - not sure why anyone would resign. Let them fire you, get the package reviewed by a lawyer and see if there is room to sue up. If not, accept the few 100k severance and move on.
According to our 3Q2025 earnings announced on 31 October 2025, we will move forward on a additional $6+ billion in structural cost savings vs. YE'24 by 2030.
Yes, layoffs, PIP's, and NSI's will continue each year until the end of 2030.
No chance right now. The HC10 are going to transition their jobs to the TCs and GBCs over the next 1-2 years, so things will need to stabilize before there’s further moves.
The next round will likely be after the first Polaris releases. 2027 probably.
@OP Probably not until after the 2026 mid terms.
They will still be using psychological warfare tactics to force resignations in the meantime.
