I was hit in the last RIF. They used the “position elimination” excuse which is interesting since they did a department reorg a month or so prior. Sent in my release form on Oct 2nd. Did not receive payment until the 22nd.

Last day was 10/2. Sent my signed agreement on 10/3. Still no severance or PTO payout. Do they come together?
Is it direct deposit or a paper check? Also is HSA, 401k and other deductions on it?
Sent in my form on 10/8 and still waiting for my severance payment. Fingers crossed it comes thru next week, which I believe is the next regular pay cycle.
Is severance a lump sum when they do pay? Just curious
