Why are we not seeing any WARN notifications? Is Verizon working on another VSP?

WARN requires notice for 50+ employee layoff at once. This is US federal law, it differs by state.
NJ in particular (home of VZ HQ) is 90 days notice because of the Millburn plant post COVID lawsuit.

Who else hopes the WARN guy/gal is RIF'd?
Lord you princesses take your WARN and stick it
I got RUD’d Q1.. great news you get unemployment.. 20 weejs in NJ… on top of a severance that I received
Not until next year. They have too many on retention from last VSP.
Layoffs at Verizon at least on the BGCO side are almost always communicated in November and April. At least the last few big ones.
WARN will be posted after employees are notified. At least that’s how it’s always been in NJ
Every layoff they get around WARN. They don’t want to give you a heads up and want you 2 be as miserable as possible countin down tha days
They can work around it, they always do. You all try and preach about “warn”, it doesn’t matter.
NJ Warn Act says employees must be notified 90 day before major layoff of 50 or more employees. We will see it on Nov 21 or later if in NJ.
