Confirmed with a co-worker that came from a meeting just now that the CMO was cut today (Sashi M). Some people will say this is good, others will say this is bad. Simply calling it out as there was more layoffs today. Not sure if it was just him or if there was additional leaders but more people are gone.

@aa most C-Suite and EVPs hired under WBA will have up to 2 years of severance even if they didn’t work 2 years here. Let that sink in.

There are plenty of incompetent VPs at Walgreens who should be shown the door. They are not limited to the healthcare side.

Another SVP has been cut too - announcement will be made later today. Kinda shocked because this SVP actually brought money in for the company. HUGE changes going on! Update those resumes!!!
Now if they would only get rid of the stupid Deerfield campus and let us all work remote. That would be a positive change!
Worked in the healthcare side, those higher ups like Sashi and Mary did nothing for this company. They cashed checks and spoke corporate jargon at townhalls. Probably got a generous severance package for all their great work
People who work in the healthcare related departments of the company should be very worried.
Also, any of the uber overpaid executives better clutch their bags of money. PE firms always slash them first. I guarantee the CMO was paid an obnoxious salary!
Mike Motz wants that money for himself.
