The first Monday of November is when layoffs were done the last 2 years. That allows your employment to extend into the following year and you get the annual bonus.

There has been (the past year) and will forever be quarterly restructuring role eliminations. Rick even referenced this in the Q&A.
The only question is if they are big enough for anyone to realize. Last one was like 50.. nothing. This one feels bigger but who knows

I was laid off Monday Oct 30 2023 but they made the effective date Nov something to accomplish what the OP mentioned. For what it’s worth…..
Bc Im a horrible person? I hope Tech (STS) gets decimated. They deserve it. For those of us still here, we will appreciate it when our vested stock goes up more. Give me money at the sake of other peoples misfortune.
