Full Time Back To Office For All - Goodbye Work From Home

Company will soon announce that all employees must report back to work full time beginning in New Year and no later than end of January. No employee will be able to work from home in all areas of work.

So much for work life balance. Gonna be looking elsewhere.

Only unioized clerical staff is back to office full time. People leaders only have to come in two or 3 days a week.
My people leader comes in once every two weeks as she has children at home and daycare is very expensive even in the small town she resides in.
Alot of people are upset by this, but i understand. I would do the same if i had children. I dont know how she manages!

Lots of companies have reversed their direction. My wife, who was told they would always have work from home in an email from the President has now been told as of Mar 1 all workers are to RTO permanently. Nice long letter about how things have changed etc etc. anything can be reversed. Up to you if you want to stay. But over time there will be less WFH and more RTO

RTO won’t happen. AM already sent out a company wide email saying it’s here to stay. GE was the Board director throughout, so he won’t backtrack once he takes over as CEO.

Does anybody know if Asset Performance will be safe from layoffs?

There will still be layoffs, little time.

great way to reduce head count! much better than layoffs. With fewer people the company can afford bigger raises.

As long as Asset Performance stays, any other exodus is inconsequential to Enbridge.

"They’ll see a sizable exodus"

That is the point.

They’ll see a sizable exodus assuming the labor market is still worth anything…that’s a big if though.

All I can say is that it is about time. Everyone should be back in office.
