@f2 what is Optum HBMC there’s no such thing as reddeployment here i’ve seen it firsthand they promise, but it doesn’t happen
Had my meeting. Most Operation Coordinators at Optum HBMC are cut or will be redeployed.

I’m in operations and got an email called “organizational updates” but it went to a group of us. Does this typically happen this way?

@bd can confirm. Was laid off a year and a half ago and got an email for a 9am meeting around 8:40 that morning with a generic title - “team updates” or something like that
The emails do not come out until the morning/day of RIF- literally within 15-20 mins.
I speak from experience. You will not know ahead of time.

Managers whose teams are impacted were invited to downsizing training Tuesday and Wednesday … calendar invites should come from your manager (or one level up) and you’ll get the email after the meeting happens.
not true, unless the rules have changed in the last year. Mine was scheduled 3 days prior and the title has "1:1 touch base". After being told for months that no one was getting laid off, I was laid off. The conversation came as a very big surprise. I found a new role with a different company that is less stressful and with open, honest leaders.
@ad I’ve noticed this too. Upper management curiosity disappears on weeks when there are layoffs. 🧐
@ab last year when Wellmed go hit hard, the ones impacted were told the evening before, then the next day in the AM is when there was a meeting to let everyone know what had happened

No emails sent before tomorrow morning are RIF emails. They just aren't.
RIF emails are the morning of, that's the HR rules. I promise you I know.
