Taylor’s NBCU deal starts January 2029. He’s still with Paramount thru 2028.
So now not only is P+ the worst streamer for the horrible user experience, but they don’t have any good original content either?

So basically, the new head of content of P+ wouldn't be held to ransom by him.
Like it or not, the platform needs to diversify and not buy everything he suggests needs to be made.
This is what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket instead of focusing on building other IP and franchises - the change was inevitable.
Worked in marketing for his shows. He's overhyped compared to how much cost and headache he brings. Since Costner left Yellowstone, the quality of Sheridan's writing never returned. He's very demanding, uncooperative and uncollaborative, and a detriment to the efforts to get an audience to his shows. He's not the guy that's gonna move the needle.

Taylor and I go way back. He's been mentioning this for some time, rather unhappy with the turmoil. But remember in the end, its just business.
