One of our posts about our su-k a-s security team and its crooked VP has hit over 100 thousand hits and counting. That is more than any other company has ever had on layoffs.com. One of the posts in that string has almost 4000 employees who have thumbs up the plead for help. That too is a record. Where have we gone as a company to sit mute to so many associates’ cries for help? It’s a pathetic record to have on this site and our customers see it. Hopefully the new company merger and shareholders and board of directors will see it and make the right decisions on who let this all happen and lay them off! Those records are embarrassing!

@OP I am an employee who left in 2021 and am at PFG now. We all heard about this site and use it to try to get new customers. Y’all have reached new levels of being fu---d up. I have not read the famous 100 thousand hit post yet but can’t wait.
I think the reason why y’all are getting so many hits is we are directing all of our prospect customers and customers we are both bidding on to this site to let them know the disfunction and how y’all have security problems. It helped me close my year over plan. So thank you colonel sanders! We owe you some love.
wtf! Are you really surprised. It's all anyone is talking about. Even my customers ask me.
Wer'e very popular right now. My customer asked me about these posts and the bad security manager tonight and I had never heard of this layoffs.com til he told me. He asked if it was true and I told him yes because it is. I thought it was just our warehouse but I read all these and it looks like we are all fu---d. I didn't know about layoffs.com until he told me and he said the driver at his other healthcare place in California told them. They are all worried about what is going on and if it will effect their deliveries if a violent happen at our warehouse.
Sh-t! That is amazing. I just looked and over 110k visitors too. This is not a great record but it is reflective of the pain they are causing. His bringing in his kid wasn't the issue. Bringing an unqualified and unethical fu-k is a huge problem. is any executive gonna do the right thing?
Yikes! 4000 of us employees now have liked the last post on Dave has protection. It's another site record. I tried to vote again but it only allows one like at a time on that post. It looks like thousands of us worry about the ethics and capability of our security guy. I made a screen save in case someone gets hurt, I can sue. If comms is still sharing these with people in the company like they have to our boss, then they will be liable. What a shame that we have to beg for action. It is a fu--ing shame!
It's a pathetic accomplishment. But I had not seen those posts and did now. How was he hired?
I did not notice the 'record" until you pointed that sh-t out. It's the company's fault for not paying any attention to what we were all saying about the unqualified a--hole they hired. The big numbers of readers show how serious and scared some of us are. It's bullsh-t and its scary that a guy like that was given this job with that kind of authority on us. Fu-k them all if they cant understand that or if they don't give a fu-k. We will get paid in court if there were emails from communications to ELT and Board and they didn't do sh-t. The last laugh will be ours cuz the HR rep who is telling us sh-t on this site said they are sharing our sh-t with others in the company. If they choose to ignore us now, fu-k it. We will get paid later.
We’re number 1 ! We’re number 1 ! We’re number 1 !
Sh-t! That is a big fu--ing deal. I am going to steer our customers to this site so they can see what is happening on the inside. Y’all should do the same.
Thanks for sharing that. At least they should make sense who ever in pinned for it has prior experience. Wasting our money on consultants to help him when he should already know what to do is a fu--ing joke.
@eh I used to work TA and when I first started with the company, every job opening had very strict posting guidelines to make sure that internal employees were first considered and then external. If it was a super niche role, it may be immediately posted externally, but still announced. I am no longer with the company by choice, but my old colleagues who are still there are telling me that even positions that should be promotional opportunities within the TA department are being posted externally right away, and they aren't even being announced in the department anymore. It's very sneaky - so, to respond directly to your speculation on if more qualified applicants were passed up for that guy - it's very likely. There may not have even been any other applicants if they created a confidential requisition for the position, in which you have to have the direct link sent to you in order to apply - it's not public. This is speculation on my part, but, with US Foods' behavior over the last couple of years, I would be surprised if they DIDN'T already had him pinned for the role, as they do with countless others. They have a plan, they're going to execute that plan at any and all costs, regardless of who it betrays or impacts (unless if it's someone in the c-suite of course). Your performance has nothing to do with your value to the company.
This is tragic!
My neighbor is a retired FBI agent who knows him and said he can't believe we hired him. He said he applied to several companies after the left "the agency" and all turned him down quickly. He said he had a friend that hired him in a very small region security guard company. He told me other stories of his "challenges" in the FBI that I promised to not speak about and I will respect that but will say they are far worse than what the media picked up. He said he hired a retired FBI friend of his that works for a consultation firm to give him advise and consultation at US Foods on what needs to be done. That part was surprising because we are laying off people and yet paying for someone to tell our head of security what he should already know what to do? Can anyone confirm that part? It will make a great lawsuit if there is a death or something huge that happens or if other outside more qualified applicants were by-passed for the job. Anybody know?
What a proud accomplishment! The sad part is all of this bad publicity could have all been prevented by fixing the fu-k ups.
I am very sorry for all of you. I’m glad I made the right choice to find a new food provider for my restaurants. I went to a new provider for cost savings and haven’t been happy and was going to come back to us foods but after reading these and the long record board, I am never coming back. That secure man is a loose cannon and I don’t need him hearing about or getting in my business. But I miss my driver and rep. I am sad that you have to deal with all of this and wish you both the best.
Surprised snd not surprised
