Is the merge happening? Media has been pretty quiet about it. the most recent report was a clean team meeting was scheduled and it went well. Hope all goes well if the merge does happen but what's going to happen in certain markets. If pfg and usfood both delivering in the same area.who's going to take over those markets when you have delivery drivers and sales reps for both sides. I guess only time will tell if it's even going to happen or not happen.this is slow seasons but usfoods jist hired 10 drivers in my area.while we still have stand days going on. Doesn't make sense

Fu-k! They ended the talks. We are fu--ing stuck in this dumpster fire that is US Foods.

Ha, I am an associate in Digitech and hope we become part of theirs. Our DT leaders told us they barely have a program and that we will take it over but we are weak as fu-k. Our technology is sh-t and we are always trying to put out fires and our leaders are even weaker. One looks like Jabba the hut and while he knows IT like the back of his hand, he isn't smart enough to know what to replace, upgrade, implement, and how and when. He is half the reason we are in the mess we are. The infosec side is led by a uselss and sorry, but d-mb blonde that only a couple of kiss as--s respect. She is the reason we are not well protected. Then there's our illustrious VP who likes to hear himself talk and isn't bad but he is the best of the three. Which isn't saying much. If he were surrounded by better number 2s, we would be sronger. So I hope to blend into the other company's Digitech team and all of us say the same around the water cooler.
I hope we pick up their marketing VP. We will have a competitive environment if we do because ours is joke. I am tired of selling with the weakest marketing ideas and events that I have ever been a part of. My prior companies had much better marketing plans and CMOs. Ours must be granting special treats to our execs to keep her job.
It takes a while to do the research and find out things like
- what legal suits each company has , where they have DC’s
- where ours are so they know which can close if they have two in the same market or will they need two in the area.
- Financials
4 staffing and departments and who will be let go.
And muc much more. There is a few more months to go. If everything checks out, which it will, all will be announced.
