If layoffs are really coming, which group do you think gets hit first: tech, retail, or shared services?

Unfortunately there’s no one smart enough to come with a strategic plan. So everything gets cut equally across the board whether the initiative makes money or not. The entire leadership team needs to be shown the door for this debacle.
Every group will get equal cuts minimum. That's the Verizon way. IMO some groups should get more than others but the politics of each leader wanting heads keeps the % the same for each major group. if we want to grow we need to be strategic in these decisions and not across the board same percentage.
Wipe them out. All of them.

I think there could be some layoffs in retail at the director level and above and operations. I also think there are some underperforming corporate locations that could be switched to indirect as well. Rep and Store management wise, stores are already pretty much at skeleton staffing levels.
I think there will be cuts everywhere though
