There is criticism, and some of it is justified.
But we should never forget that SAP is still much, much better than Microsoft, Oracle or any other competitor.
I think we can be grateful.

Correct about SAP being better than Oracle for one sole reason: Our Chairperson and Chief Products Officer don’t look like Mason Verger from Hannibal.
@OP l think we all have choices and the board decided to copy paste the same strategy of other tech even though maybe not playing strictly in the same league. The only "luck" for the (so far) lighter approach we have is that SAP is still a European company and cannot kick employees from a day to another in many countries... Other Tech giants have main presence in countries where employees have 0 rights.
I agree that SAP is still good. Compared to other companies, even the board is okay.
If only our industry wouldn‘t be such a sh-t show.
I like it here, SAP is great. I wrote this in the survey, too.
@a7 When is it being re-branded as “RINSE”?
Wow! Dominick and Christian prompted AI for a post and that was it?
SAP was great but isn’t anymore. It’s between okay and good.
Make SAP Great Again
@aq But getting into a job at competition is harder
Competition makes more, pays more, demands more.
I will take your comment at face value - and agree with it.
@OP Grateful for what ?
It's a contract between employee and company: grateful to each other would describe it better.
Grateful to still have a job ?
SAP like any other company isn't managed by feelings so you still have a job because SAP still needs you otherwise you'll be gone.
Bottom line, you stay because you still have interest in staying and SAP keeps you because it still has interest in keeping you...it's just a professional contract.
Anyone who has had a taste of RISE would disagree.
Imagine taking this as dating advice. "She sleeps around but at least doesn't film it. It could be worse!"
Awful attempt at bait
I am not sure that I would describe SAP as "great", but I agree with the relative assessment compared to some other companies that are worse.
Still... "good" would be better than "less bad than the others".
