Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

CEO Becomes Chairman of Board

The last semblance of segregation of duties and independent oversight is gone. Not that Citi is the only one to do this. But well....

There's No segregation of duties, independence and objectivity of roles/jobs. Citi may as well Fire All of Internal Audit and Risk Management because NO employee in their right mind will report CEO Insane Jane's and the Board of Directors' Conflicts of Interests, Corruption, Bribery, malfeasance, Violations of Law, etc..

From Justin Wright, Career Coach Citi hosted a few months ago - See below. Number 4 Rings hollow at Citi and is a ludicrous joke even the media reported on. Number 4: If your actions don't align with your values, your employees won't trust you.

12 brutal truths every employer needs to read:

When your best people leave, it's not them. It's you.

You don't have a remote work issue. You have trust issues.

Management that can't handle feedback won't survive change.

If your actions don't align with your values, your employees won't trust you.

Your diversity program is hollow if your leadership team all looks the same.

Underpaying your people doesn't make you cost-effective. It makes you short-sighted.

A toxic culture will tarnish your brand, no matter how good your products are.

The customer experience will never exceed the employee experience.

Micromanagement isn't a sign of dedication, it's a warning sign.

Top talent won't stay if their growth isn't your priority.

Leading by fear creates teams that underperform.

If you don't pay people what they're worth, someone else will.

When you always put your people first,
they'll give you their best
and everyone wins.

What Sh!tibank and CEO Insane Jane have done is straight up corruption.

The Wolf 🐺 watching the Hen House 🐔🐓.

There's NO independence and objectivity as these tenets are an absurd joke at Sh!tibank the media already reported on.

In addition to CEO Insane Jane And the Board of Directors, the REGULATORS must FIRE Risk "Management" and Internal Audit because what's the point ???

Sh!tibank is rife and replete with Conflicts of Interests and Corruption and NO one will be held accountable for them!

Let CEO Insane Jane's disciples and AS$-Wipers 🧻🚽 follow her on the Citi Train Wreck. 🚉💥

All Aboard ! Choo Choo. ROTFLMFAO!

HSBC, W!tch F@rtgo, Lehman, Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse, Drexel etc. all did the same machinations, had Conflicts of Interest, subterfuges, etc..

They're now either De@d ☠️ or a slimmed down shadow of their former selves because the Regulators ordered them to sell business pieces of their banks because of replete and constant violations of Law in addition to hundred of millions of dollars in fines. 💵💸

Citi is on the same path. LOL!

Combining the roles of CEO and Chair undermines board independence and accountability. As CEO, Fraser was previously answerable to the board; now, as Chair, she leads it. This concentration of power risks turning oversight into self-endorsement, weakening the board’s ability to objectively evaluate executive performance and make tough decisions if needed.

Raises and bonuses will probably be even worse than last year. I nearly laughed in my managers face last year but have an extremely good poker face. They seemed surprised by my bored expression. I was like ok next topic.🤣

Oh. Well, well. 25 millions goes into Jane’s pocket. That’s explains lack of promotions this year.
