Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Has anyone noticed Fidelity does not have a huge population of Asian or Latino employees compared to other financial companies or banks?

@2pk could you please kindly elaborate? Pointing the general BU and function (Tech, Call center, cafeteria)? I'm surprised by your statement and genuinely intrigued to learn.

When it comes to hiring in many parts of the company, HR is at the beck and call of the Indian mafia.

It’s because a lot of the hiring is in tech, which means 90% of the hiring is done by Indians for Indians of Indians.

We needed to fill the dei requirement with purple hair non binaries. Unfortunately Asians and Latinos generally aren’t cooky enough to be considered to work here.
