Does anyone else find it odd and totally insensitive that the group of people handling offboarding of VSP'd and ISP'd associates is named the "Execution Team"? Is this just an insensitive error naming the team or is it some type of twisted psychological play by one Penelope Pennington? Either way, very strange and off-putting.

@11 - you are spot on. This “reimagining” wasn’t a restructuring, it was a reckoning for a few insecure leaders to regain control by putting unqualified cronies and yes women/men in key positions.
Trust me when I say there was no thought given to organization or job design, the focus was on placing talent that would follow orders unquestionably - and jettisoning those who have actual opinions on how the firm should operate (or the leaders who run it).
This is why you see such chaos in the aftermath. Unqualified people who won’t bite the master’s hand but have no clue that they are supposed to be doing.
What’s left is mediocre leadership and culture. EJ is a smoldering wreckage of the firm it once was.
@a3 they are running the plays I designed and now I have been sidelined. This just hurts. If I was stupid, incompetent ok, however it is just salt in the wound. Thank you LinkedIn for continuing to share my power at work. It means a great deal to me.
@OP word on the street is all of the Reimagined / Execution crew got extra bonus pool money set aside, too, because they were "working hard".
The teams are so disorganized right now no one knows what they are doing. Not much work is being done. It essentially is log on and hold down a chair for the day. My team used to work before all of this reorganizing when everyone had clear and defined roles. Now, no one is doing any work. Let the Indians do it. It is easy money right now.
@hw I do have a choice of where I work. I choose to work at Edward Jones. I have quietly quit just like the senior leadership has quit on American workers. I am doing the bare minimum and letting my direct deposit hit every two weeks. No stress here on my end. Thanks, Penny, for showing me the way!
You have a choice of where you work… time to get stepping :)
@f8 It is Penny with with a sickle.
Execution team? Seriously? What’s their logo, the Grim Reaper?
That is a fantastic observation!!
No - they just lack self and situational awareness like having a “Like” button on Enterprise Reimagine communications. When looking at who gives the “Thumbs-up”, it’s mostly BOAs who will eventually be displaced once AI is up and running. You do not need 2 BOAs in a Level 10 office when one’s responsibilities will be done using computer programs. BOA = “Buy.Outs.Anyday”
