Was this aimed at older employees?

The few people I know who were cut are all in their 40s and above. Was that intentional?

If any was is over 40 they should read the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act (OWBPA) before signing any thing about their severance package.

@a8 The longer you’ve been at Walgreens, the less you make compared to your newer peers. I.E. You may start at 60K 10 years ago, but now income employees start at 70K. They catch up and surpass you based on the % raises.

No, I know a couple younger and newer employees in the analyst band who were affected.

Less likely it was age-related; more likely salary-driven. Probably a good correlation between age and experience and salary.
