More layoffs, more lost benefits, more reorgs, more of the same. I've lost any hope I had that things might by some miracle improve.

History of Vz.
Bell atlantic/Nynex merged into Regional Super Power to create Verizon.
Verizon starts the downward Dogs:
Acquires GTE… underwhelming Rural Company
Acquires MCI … fraud culture with underwhelming Executive/Mgmt.
Overpays VodaPhone and stuck with European Execs (Hans, etc)
Acquires Frontiet … bankrupt rural company
Either Verizon CEO goes back to USA focus ir company blown up in 3-5 years
I live 5 miles from HQ… Mon/Fri maybe 200 people in building ( includes cafe workers, guards and people getting off asking directions
I was told by an employee in operations today, that by 2pm to 3 pm the Basking Ridge headquarters is empty of most employees. Yes, not working a full day and leaving early. By the way the guy who told me been with the company for 20 years,
Bring jobs back to the USA.

Meritocracy will wipe out under performing DEI Directors and above.
