I still remember it being delusionally proclaimed in general session that "we will be known as the company that invented wireless music!" as they were trying to gain ground on Sonos. 😂 The software was ALWAYS the weak spot and they never spent the money on the people with the skills needed to make it. Bose half-assed everything thinking tjat it would somehow save them. Ivy league educated minds.😂

Wow. How clueless do you have to be? Bose apps su-k because they could not afford good software designers for the Apps. Sound touch app is so outdated they were talking about this last year in 2024. Where have you been? Oh that is right in your silo not knowing what is going on until you hear a public announcement. Then you start panicking. Does this mean more lay offs are coming? Kool aid drinking mushrooms is the only thing left. You are kept in the dark and fed cr-p and believe there is a future for Bose. Once past the messy middle then the company will get turned around. The only turn around happening is Bose spinning around while going down the drain.
Dang ECO 1 is finally dead- i'm suprised it lingered on this long. It was weird never seeing any sort of updates/changes to the app- We went from the dark black and white app, to the very bright white app. But yet no updates, improvements or new music services! I wonder why Sonos did so much better then us?
Bose hasn't had actual leadership in at least two decades. Lila is no exception. The baton simply got passed like a lit stick of dynamite from one check-box incompetent to the next. There ain't much fuse left. It'll go "BO-M" soon enough. The only sad part is that the explosion won't be in the faces of all of the stuffed suits and shirts who've corroded and destroyed the company over the last 20 years. They all deserve a face-full.

Has Bose increased in headcount over the last decade in any year?
Bose is long dead.
