One of mine too. If this is happening all over, we will miss our targets. I couldn't lie to them when they asked if the things on this board are true. So I told them to truth.

Cool! Thank you too. One of my customers doing the same thing and cutting some of their orders too. They told me Thursday when I was delivering. US foods is a good company but they made some mistakes that ain’t what we used to. We better than that. Thanks again to all.

I will join that movement. I am only a one restaurant customer but I will back my drivers. They’ve become like family and they are fed lunch every time they are here. I will cut my orders in half and move some orders to my old service.

What I am reading here will not help your sales and I cannot give you more revenue while your employees keep getting treated so terribly. Further, they don't even have a safe place to work based on your own hiring decisions. Therefore, as a concerned customer, I will reduce my spend a small percentage to try two other providers and will then move our restaurants to another provider. We will miss our delivery drivers and our national sales account rep but we simply cannot continue under these conditions. We hope you will reconsider some of the decisions and make the necessary changes to place your company back on track. Your current actions are deplorable and were confirmed in our discussion with your national rep and drivers who are genuinely concerned and frightened.

@jc No. take time to read the posts. Security digi tech was not affected. Only the other side was. And sales is all that has said was affected but I hear there are others. We are just waiting for them to post here.

Was only security tech affected in Digitech? And what other departments beyond sales?

I work in sales and yes it is happening here too. I lost three friends already. If I survive this layoff, I am going to be frightened too. The crazies know where we work and some where we live. I called a couple who were laid off and they are pi---d and said some loon toon and scary comments. I concur that the 2nd Amend is our best hope in light of the horrendous security.

My thoughts are with all of you that were affected.

Is sales is getting hit with layoffs? And did they fire the Marketing chief? No reason they are here if this is their fault. How long have we been talking about how bad the marketing is here? This is the price of us recognizing something executives didn't. Where is the accountability to the top in marketing and her infantile ideas and marketing tools?

Sales needs HR to hire experts to teach marketing and sales to our sales teams. My old company did that and they are outperforming us in sales. They also had less technology but better marketing leads and scheme.

Lastly, I agree with the other posts. People are pi---d and our pathetic security and our employees carrying protection is scaring me because a fight inside might make them draw on each other and hit me. Was this kernal guy released? Where is the accountability for failures and being too d-mb or inexperienced to do the job?

DO SOMETHING!

I remember my father watching the REVENGE OF THE NERDS movie with me when I was a kid. This post is like an episode of that movie except they are fighting each other. Settle down nerds. Be happy if there is a cheerleader in your team. That would make it an episode of the BIG BANG THEORY. Like Penny on the show, she may be d-mb but they are happy to have her around. Now stop posting your meaningless sh-t on here and go work on some circuits.

@fr P's team only. It doesn't make sense b -cuz our brothers and sisters on the other side caused all of the problems. Now I have lost close friends who busted their a-s. Their cyber-sec cheerleader VP must have been providing benefits to the executives to have something this fu---d up happen.

@d Thanks for letting us all know what went down in the Digi tech / IT side. It soungs like many bit it today there. Were they the regular tech or security tech that had the sh-t dropped on them? I am guessing security tech since they have been so bad for so long. Know you are in our thoughts either way. I am not pointing the finger at you if you are in security tech. We know you are doing what ever your fu--ing leaders are asking. Were they exited?

I had to think about that and then I couldn't stop laughing when I figured that sh-t out. I too am pleading the 2ND and have been seen I heard about Alabama and read how it is still fu---d up and wide open. The kernel is lost and out of his league. 2nd all the way and every day.

Fu--ing great! NOT! Even if we survive the layoffs, some crazy a--hole that didn't may come back after us and we still have Colonel Sanders in the chair. We are fu---d either way!

Come to work prepared to protect yourselves. I will plead the 2nd!

@f3 one important word was corrected. Let me try again. Did you hear about the man with the 5 pe--ses (men’s genitalia) ? His pants fit him like a glove.

Please let me try to add some humor to cheer everyone up and get us to relax. Did you hear about the man with the 5 pe--ses? No? Well his pants fit him like a glove.

I hope that brings some laughter to cheer everyone up if just for a few seconds.

Yes there are others. Got the update from my HR friend. I am calling her again to see what I can share and what I can’t. The list is very long. I hate it because though I survived some of my friends won’t.

Good! They were fu--ing useless anyways. Was it all of Digitrch or only the weird VP’s team? Cuz their tech security team ain’t sh-t either for getting hacked again and fu--ing up the sharing of what was going on. All VPs need to get whacked there. It’s a sh-t show. The good people paid the price instead of the weak a-s leaders. Why is it always like that?

A number of people in the IT organization were let go on Wednesday—mostly full-time employees, including several who had been with the company for over a decade. From what I understand, this wasn’t performance-related.

US Foods as a whole didn’t meet certain end-of-year targets, and our expense ratio ended up higher than competitors’, leading to the decision to reduce costs. Leadership in Tech mentioned that teams are expected to stay within budget moving forward, and that if we exceed those limits, additional cuts could happen next year.

This appears to be part of a broader company-wide restructuring effort focused on cost reduction and shifting strategy toward customer growth.
