Who is trying to see if their manager will let it slip who is on the list? Me!

Some may notice the signs very soon when bosses and certain coworkers limit their time with you, meetings may decrease or get shortened, some of your work might be delegated to someone else. It will be a sad feeling from prior observations. Hang in there, it’s about eliminating positions not about how amazing some of you are.
@ad Yes, you're right. Those are what they plan to cut this year though, chances are with restructuring and figuring out teams and work flows, efficiencies, there will be more cuts next year. People are over-panicking to a degree about this year (3K is not a large cut relative to a 18K global workforce) - but next year won't be great either.
Take your Paid time off. Do all the things for YOU.
@ac What? More pessimism?
The cuts are expected to be in the neighborhood of 2,500 - 3,000 right? I get that the worry is that nobody knows precisely which functions are going to be the biggest targets but without knowing that, the odds for any one person of not getting cut are pretty strong no?
@a9 I have terrible news for you
I’m non-stop working. Taking on any project that I can. Signing on early, staying on late. To me, those lists aren’t final until I get told that I’m being laid off. I’m going to work my a-s off everyday to ensure that I am a valuable asset to this company.
I am scheduled to use up all of my PTO in the month of October.
