HOMEMADE RETURN SIGN @ CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK!

I couldn’t believe that I have been shopping at this store in northern Virginia for over 20 years. And anytime I had a return I would go to the customer service desk, especially if I was in a hurry or on a lunch break from work. The new people they hired are so inapt.. They don’t know how to do returns or they refuse to do returns and all they do is laugh and giggle behind the desk. They made me go all the way up to the third floor to return a dress and a lipstick that I bought ONLINE. I will only shop going forward at Bloomingdales. That store has really gone downhill with a caliber of people and employees that they hire very disappointing

I was told by the customer service team that they are “disrupters” and the old customer service is no longer run the same way. Things have changed. Really?

Yes. I frequent that Tyson’s Corner Mall Nordstrom and can confirm that Customer Service desk has DRASTICALLY changed!! Zero effort to help you anymore with orders, credit card payments or RETURNS!!! DO NOT SHOP at that store.

Nordstrom does not use the term "Skip the Line" on its signs for online order pickups. Instead, the service is officially branded as "Buy Online & Pick Up In Stores," with signage directing customers to a designated "Order Pickup" area, often located near customer service or a separate kiosk.
For customers who opt for curbside service, signs mark specific parking spots for "Curbside Pickup".
In-store signs
"Order Pickup" sign: Large, prominent signs direct customers to a specific in-store area where online orders can be collected. These signs are often part of a dedicated counter or service area.
"Order Pickup On [Floor Number]" sign: In multi-level stores, directional signs may specify which floor the order pickup desk is located on.
Floor graphics: In some cases, Nordstrom uses floor decals that lead shoppers to the correct area for online order collection
PROOF this sign was “made-up” by a lazy Customer Service team in Fairfax VA store!

How about “SKIP Shopping” @Nordstrom altogether!!
That store used to be an amazing place to shop!
They obviously haven’t trained this new generation on how Nordstrom prides itself on customer service. That is the rudest SIGN I saw it too…they are acting too entitled to wait on its customers now! Very disappointing !!

I used to work at that store so I completely understand your frustration. I saw the SAME HOMEMADE SIGN directing you “AWAY” from
the Customer Service Desk! It’s a complete joke. I think they have a new SM so this person has no idea that they have a lazy team! That would have NEVER happened when I worked at Customer Service over 10+ years ago!
