I think he meant rough times, cleaning up the Hans' mess.
He’ll continue where Hans left off. Existing Director & Above level & Existing Managerial level folks etc will only be given the extra incentives plus bigger bonuses, and everyone else will be served complimentary peanuts. The “Worst” is yet to come, quite similar to when Hans took office, but on a much larger scale. Everyone’s’ job “NOW” would NOT be safe. Wishing everyone Good Luck!!

His first order of business should be to package out all Director and above leaders that have been with the company for more than 10 years. No questions, gone.
This man knows that a happy employee is one that will give a good experience. He will revolutionize verizon to be customer-centric and in order to do so he will be employee-centric as well.
Rough times ahead in his welcome speech???
