Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

RTO is SOOOO Successful

the RTO is so successful that they have already had to resort to bribery.

This week there are raffles for iPad, iPods, Grills/Air Fryers etc, what an absolute cluster

This is so hilarious I’m ready to cry - RTO now? We were rto with subtle threats and cajoling and nonsense explanations fit for two-year-olds - 3 years ago.

It's great to listen to manager do their 1:1's out in the open. I'm sure my teammates feel great that i know stuff about them that i should not. (Privacy Violation)

I have to agree about the layout. It’s like working in a call center.

I never could figure out which was worse, backward thinking senior management aye all that thinks RTO is a good idea or young people thinking that a bullpen er open space is a good idea.

@OP Dang they’re still giving away iPods? Which ones? Those might be worth some money to a collector.

It's interesting that they haven't done a survey about the RTO mandate and inviting environment that the ELT created, then again

A) they don't want to hear they sc--wed up
B) NO ONE believes those surveys are truly anonymous

The environment and desk layout they created is miserable (no privacy, no personal storage, noisy), it's no wonder people won't go in.

They need to fire whoever came up with and approved this, although my guess is that they will end up getting promoted.
