Lip service is from the VP who lied to you about trying to "move you"...
That was not genuine from them.
If they are a VP they can do it. Or they are not a VP.
Don't believe their b.s.
Their is no discrimination on gender, color, religion, political inclinations. Only brown nosing skills , ppt performance , and village matters.
I was laid off too. That whole jargon about “consistent low performers” and “redeploy talent” is all lip service. VPs have a $ target to hit and they just have to go through and meet that number. Other VPs tried to interject and move me to their team (still trying) but it seems too late.
