When JW started there were SO many shady hires. People coming in as managerial roles, then suddenly getting promoted to leadership a month later. Sketchorama.
@ae no, the previous leadership were not doing the right thing, they let go off many good folks to hide their incompetency.
How many rounds? Is it over?
Given the frequency of layoffs, there must have been enough deadwood at Teradata to populate a small South American country
JW's cronies were let go. What amazes me are the survivors that seem to be thriving that are totally unqualified. Give me an "A"! Give me a "D"...
@aa I fully agree with you, there's a lot of deadwood but we'll be downvoted to smitherines here for saying that. Today's RIF is tiny
Which dept or regions?
if its performance based, I am not worried, in fact it is good to shed some dead weight this way. There are too many growth inhibitors in the company.
Yes, one senior person in my team was let go today.
So how is affected? Doesn't look like anything is actually happening, layoffs usually happen at the end of October, it seem to early.
That’s a part of growth strategy.
But…but…but…everything at Teradata is wonderful!
