Worked for them for 20 years in a count down to retirement out of the blue my position has been eliminated. COLD scripted no explanation just instructions ..got a severance that is less than 3 months wages....this company never offered opportunity for advancement...gave me a line count raise in 2009 and then took it back in 2010...very little encouragement for good work but make a mistake or not go fast enough then there were conference calls...

Sorry to hear that. Hang tight and don’t lose hope. I was let go from another company after 18 years of hard work. Given my age, thought that I could never land another job, but found my current position just after few months.
