The company that used to be a great workplace has now become a dumpster fire. Can anyone feel safe here? I doubt it. Surviving layoffs bring only a little relief because there are always new cuts around the corner. It is always better to look for a job while you still have a job.

@1bhz+1k6D3o2s 'when was it not "a dumpster fire"?'
It's a fair question. No job is ever ideal, and you can always find someone to complain, but in my experience Citrix was always a very special place until around 2015, (more than a coincidence, that's also when MT was forced out.)
In IT, where I worked, leadership eventually flowed from the admittedly imperfect, but humble and well-intentioned PM, to a parade of self-dealing bozos whose initials I won't dignify to post here. When good top-level leadership suddenly disappears like that, it doesn't take long for everything underneath to crumble.
I'm curious, when was it not "a dumpster fire"?
Five years ago? Ten years ago? Longer?
Seems like there were flames and smoke for a very long time before anyone cared to act.
