A union always sounds good on paper, but in practice they are even better.

Let's be fair, all of the CSG BU employees are now black-belt quiet quitting experts, regardless of location. Nobody cares anymore. Under Krause's leadership, we're all in a downward spiral of decline.

EMEA employees, brace yourselves... for the next two weeks.

Oh, and happy holidays to you, from the TK ELT minions ;-)

Citrix UK employee work ethic has been an issue for a long time. I believe they were the ones who wanted to form an employee Union when the PE takeover was announced

Thanks for sharing the UK legal opinion. That's very insightful. FYI, we have a person in the UK office that was recently promoted to Director in the marketing team. He's convinced he is 'untouchable' because he's been a quiet quitter for 10+ years at Citrix and nobody fired him. I told him, things will change under TK's leadership. Be careful.

@3kwr+1k69tp5Y That is correct. But many people have been left for 3 months without proper direct management line, or any communication on what they should be doing, or what their role is. Even if these individuals were to "quietly quit", the company would have to prove that they had a role and a job to do in the first place. A lot of people dont even know where they stand in their BU, and have ZERO guidelines from upper management on what the plan is for their projects, their role, even for the whole department. They won't need the best solicitor to win their case, should the company be foolish enough to try the PIP on them.

From a UK legal opinion on this matter: Termination for poor performance is lawful.

"Employees may fall below required performance standards if they 'quietly quit', potentially giving an employer grounds to manage employees’ performance under a formal performance process. If, following a fair process, there’s no improvement, the employee can potentially be dismissed on the grounds of capability."

I suspect CSG EMEA employees aren't prepared for what comes next. Krause will put the dudes that fit this profile on a performance plan and terminate them ASAP.

Again, to US and APAC folk - you cannot do this in EMEA. They would be buried under constructive dismissal lawsuits.

Happy Holidays EMEA employees. You get to experience the joy of working at CSG and helping Krause extract cash from the remaining installed base of inept customers.

Inspiring work for the New Year? No, that's what I call truly pitiful. Move on...

Hopefully they started at the VP level and worked their way down as it is the leaders that screwed this company up.

Ah, another TK minion trying to get people to quit. I'm sure TK will reward you. Or fire you. PATHETIC.

@1euh+1k69tp5Y, those who have chosen inaction now will deal with the consequences later. Think about the potential damage done to your self-esteem while you wait.

I do wonder how many more there are like you, completely lost hope and essentially retired in place at CSG. With so many CSG employees impacted by similar apathy, it's very sad. Life is too short to willingly submit to this pitiful existence.

What are we holding our hats for - Robin Hood? Something earth shattering or more layoffs? They pretty much told us that the layoffs would happen through December into January so I would be surprised if anyone else was actually surprised.

So be it. I don't know if I will be staying or going tbh. Early October I freaked out, and now the uncertainty doesn't phase me. I've had time to plan out my future, do little work each day, enjoy a lot of PTO, and again do little work. I'll keep doing it until someone tells me to do something else or leave.

Various roles - marketing/sales development, customer services, customer success.

Offices being closed for both tibco and citrix across EMEA.

Between now until 16th December, cuts will be made to non-sales.

Next news - 10th Jan, hold your hats.

Best of luck everyone affected.
