They can send as many jobs as they want to cheaper countries, but they can't escape the low quality they'll be getting with it. They're walking out priceless institutional knowledge with these layoffs, and that decision will come back to bite them in the a-s, I guarantee you.

They already know that...they just don't care lol.
First of all it's not exactly a given that it will result in lower quality. Second of all they don't care. The competition from China is too much, they push out garbage that people buy instead of TI products. This eats into TI margins. At this point the market is just becoming a scam. Sell something that works just well enough for long enough to take people's money.
